Erin Joe is a Senior Executive Cybersecurity professional with over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, national security, and risk and crisis management. She serves as a trusted advisor to strategic customers and industry partners, guiding digital transformations and building business resilience.

Previously, Erin served as a Senior Executive at the FBI, directing the global response to thousands of cybersecurity threats and attacks. She collaborated with Fortune 500 companies, U.S. government agencies, and allied nations. She co-authored the FBI’s first comprehensive national security cyber strategy and led the FBI’s digital transformation, deploying the FBI’s first digital system of record. Erin also served as the second Director of the Cyber Threat Intelligence Integration Center, informing the Office of the President and top government officials on current and emerging cyber threats and making policy and operational decisions for the Intelligence Community. Throughout her career, Erin has demonstrated exceptional leadership, cultivating high-performing teams and mentoring future leaders.

Erin held the position of Senior Vice President of Strategy and Alliances at Mandiant and served in a field CISO capacity in Google Cloud’s Office of the CISO, bringing security and technology expertise to build business resilience for top tier customers. An experienced public speaker, Erin has presented at over 100 industry events, including RSA, Women in Cybersecurity, and ISC2, National Retail Association, Energy Security Council, AFCEA, SecureWorld, GovExec, CyberScoop, Federal News Network, and many more. She is a licensed attorney, an administrative law judge, an adjunct instructor, and a certified Executive Coach. Erin serves on advisory boards for INSA and companies in risk assessment, cybersecurity, satellite security, and venture capital investments.
